Wotton House in Buckinghamshire is one of Capability Brown's earliest and most complete landscape garden commissions — five ornamental gardens, a cascade, temples, a grotto and a lake, created between 1750 and 1760 for Richard Grenville. The house itself, a Queen Anne mansion, provides an elegant backdrop to grounds of extraordinary horticultural and historical significance.
